“An
ecstatic South African Muslim man, Mr. Yusuf Lockhat or more popularly known as
Joe Lockhat of Overport in Durban makes amazing discovery of Quranic
inscriptions whilst drinking coffee from his coffee cup on a cold winter’s,
Saturday morning, as per Islamic date of 16th Rajab 1424, and English date, 13th
Sept. 2003.
Yusuf
Lockhat immediately consulted and showed the coffee cup to two Moulanas and a
Qari in his community to get a [ fatwa ] Islamic ruling as to this miraculous
discovery. They confirmed that the Quranic inscriptions was bestowed upon him as
a great gift from Almighty Allah and Allah alone, and that it is also a very
good sign of great prosperity and progress. The Muslim priests had also reminded
him that great precaution should be taken to cherish and care for it at all
times. Such a beautiful gift is rare for it is bestowed only upon those
fortunate people who are thus chosen by Allah. Upon Yusuf Lockhat’s discovery
of Almighty Allah’s miracle to him, his reactions, he says was that his entire
body trembled for a good few seconds as he felt every strand of hair stand up on
his body simultaneously when the inscriptions became more legible. Yusuf Lockhat
showed it first to his 80 yr. old mum, close members of his family and a very
close friend, Yaseen Sayeed who were all just as overjoyed.
In conclusion, Yusuf Lockhat confirms that though he is greatly overjoyed with Almighty Allah’s miraculous gift to him, it is also my duty to respect all other religions as well. He would like to reiterate that these Quranic inscriptions are very clear as it echoes aloud to the world that Islam is a true religion and not false as portrayed by some mischief makers and certain disbelievers around the world. Also similar Quranic inscriptions had appeared to various people around the world. Almighty Allah had sent Prophet Muhammad as Islam’s final messenger into this world for all mankind and not just for Muslims alone as those would think and believe it to be so.
